I agree. Eugene hasn't been playing in the game for a number of months now (18th Sept was his last tag- before that it was 8th July).

This is just his childish way to get everyone to attend the rally. Well, I for one am not attending the rally for a number of reasons. I am on holiday and the sun is shining. Therefore his childish, thoughtless tag has killed the game for those of us who are not going to the rally.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

It would seem that most of us regulars are pissed with this tag.
I am voting that the game elder (BMWST?) places a tag that is playable and eugene's tag is scrubbed

I totally agree with this Devo. I for one wouldn't go there on my bike and i dont think many others would, i vote it null invoid and BMWST post a new one thats if he hasn't gone to get it. I know its the silly season but people need to think of the other players and the game before they post.

given 90% of us are tarmac orientated, if this tag is off road (I mean seriously off road, not just down a short drive) then it's not reachable by most taggers and should be scrubbed. I don't have a problem with it being out in the middle of nowhere, as I think part of the game is getting out on yer bike and riding, not spending hours in front of a computer looking at google streetview.

If anyone has Eugene's cell (and he has coverage?) he should at least be given the opportunity to place the tag in a more reachable spot or forefit his tag.

I could post a new one. a nice file tag - but it is in my playground, and the weather starting to turn to look a bit dodgy?

Just did route 52 with some of the kapiti riders. Back of masterton/pahiatua. what a mint ride

got home just before the temperature dropped

    .
Exactly, which is why tags should be searchable, and not hidden.
the game should be about riding to get a tag, not trying to see how long you can hide it for.

To bad, he should have thought before he placed it, Stoney and Hawkeye summed it up perfectly.

Seems to me it's within the rules - it's within the specified region, and the 2 road bikes pictured managed to get there. Admittedly I probably wouldn't go get it, but only because I'm at work - and I'm not particularly well-practised on gravel.

Well it seems the regular taggers on here are all thinking along the same lines.
I gotto agree as well. The tag is more akin to the adventure tag than our streetable tag.
Laxi and Eugene did ride 2x road bikes to the spot but Laxi did comment how rough the road was and how it rattled loose bolts etc on his bike.
It is not a short stretch of dirt by the sounds of it to get there. I certainly wouldn't risk either of my bikes over dusty rutted roads with creek crossings.
If beemer gets the tag today all good and well, if not, then I am also of the opinion the tag should be void and beemer places a new valid one.

You are right the rules say its legitimate as it does show two road bikes there. I am pretty sure you have to cross streams to get there and where they and didn't want to go any further, plus they were togeather. Would you do this alone ??? Once again its the timing of of the tag that is spoiling the game.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't go alone. I've ridden out to the general location, but didn't go that far, mostly for that reason. So fair call, it's probably a bit much.

And you've probably got a belt drive, which I understand is a bad mix with gravel too.

I have only just had my bike replaced after hitting gravel and that was on tarmac.

If you look at the vid from the meet at Wianui, Laxi was happy to ride his bike through a stream not just a creek. And we all know that Eugene will ride MOST of his bikes anywhere. (would he take the ZX10 to this spot?)

I am not prepared to risk another bike going to get what I consider to be an off-road tag. If you guy's are prepared to call this a valid tag , then your welcome to it. I'm not interested.

I have Texted Eugene to express disgust

I ahve also got it from BeemA that he can recover it, but he may well allow a veto if the roads as washed out as we lnow it will be (Laxi barely made it, and his bike suffered MAJOR damage not just a lost bolt or 3)

As HE says, Eugene no longer plays regular anyway

The TAGGORAMA rally was only down Wainui Coast, reachable and tagging it was in line with the game

This one is a pathetic attempt to force attendance, when there is allready plenty of people attending the rally

Im with scout on this, and the general opinion of the regulars is its not valid

I will NOT take either bike I own near this shithole where he has posted it
I have even arranged a 4x4 and trailer to carry in bikes at the campsite that cant cross the rivers

VOID is my vote, it is not accessable to my ST4 at all, I would rip my collection chamber off
My GixxeR would smash its fairings
    VOID VOID VOID

Utterly disgusted in Eugene for this stunt

The TAG players who were not attending deserved a playable game
Eugene had the lucky shot of the tag being at the bottom of his street and abused it

File pic thats allready on another thread anyway, is that REALLY a file pic?
Not in my opinion, no way

If Paul gets it and brings it home, all good
If not recovered and posted by 7pm I vote we return to the last valid tag in Hine Road Wainui, you lot drag race for it, and we carry on like it never happened
    Just ride.
