May head to Diamond Harbour and then do a few back (gravel) roads on the MKIII.
To see how many are now sealed.
As I did a few off the back roads a few weeks ago to see that a a lot have now been sealed.

So Port Levy and around to Puari and may try to get to Pigeon Bay.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

The only gravel I see on my old maps is from Puari to Pigeon Bay. (about 10K)
Then we could take the tar sealed road from Pigeon Bay to the Summit Road, to the Hill Top Pub.

We hope to leave in a hour or so.

Had stuff to do in the morning so couldn't make this. It's a good ride so I did it anyway.

Took the gravel road from Port Levy round to Pigeon Bay. Went up to the Summit Road then dropped down into Little Akaloa. Took the seal/fresh-seal/gravel road through to Chorlton and Okains Bay.

About to head back before seeing a sign pointing out Big Hill Road so I just had to follow it. After a maze of gravel roads it took me round to Le Bons Bay.

Was going to do the Little River to Port Levy road on the way back but thought better of it.

Lots of fun on the wee bikes zipping around the back roads. Used to do it years ago on some old 50cc and 125cc bikes. Sounds like you had a good time on the Scorpio.

We seen you on our way back.
Well I'm sure it was you, we were two up on the old red MKIII Guzzi with black GIVI bags.
We took a lunch to Pigeon Bay and the roads were good.
Went back the same way to miss the traffic.
We took photo's, but the camera is playing up.

If you did come with us, you would have to wash the bike when you got home.
The roads were real good, but still dusty.
