    Smile

Spent the day dismantling Shirleys backend (no, sadly not as fun as it sounds like...). Had found on the ride home a day ago that she got a little wobbly over the hills. When home realised that I had a oil leak from the final drive (shaft drive). A 10 min "fix the leak" turned in to a days total fix where bearings and seals were needed. But I was happily having a few beers and getting dirty. Today I will see if I can complete the job. Need a oxy set to get the bearing to drop off.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Got home after 3,300kms and just kicked back. From home to Haast, to Glenorchy, to TeAnau, to Catlins, to St Bathans, to Dunners, to Methven, to Hanmer Springs.

    I love the Mainland.

    Gangbangers

On a 16 hour trip to cape reinga and back at about 11am on Friday.
When we got to the Hokianga Rawene ferry a big Maori fella with a yellow bandanna over his face approached me and a mate, its a coincidence that we were the only brown guys standing around. He went up to my mate Quentin and said "you got a problem with me " started swearing and saying he'd get his Head Hunter mc mates to come over and kill us then take our bikes that we are on their turf. We called a bluff and asked him why he wants to do that to us out of all people standing around waiting for the ferry and he replies "because I can". So my mate kindly said if he touched his Hayabusa he'd have shoved the bandanna up his arse and drowned him in the water. The guy walks back to his car pulls out a knife then walks up, we both zip up our jackets two mates come along to our rescue and tell the fella to go away. The guy walks up to me and asks me where I'm from that he "wont forget my face" then rings up his supposedly "headhunter mates". We got out of there because the ferry turned up, im still trying to figure out why he'd attacked us in a crowded place out of all people, he might of mistaken us for some gang members or something? Maybe he just wanted to mug us? I'm lucky I got out alive. btw it only costs $3.50 to get your bike on the ferry.

Did you guys have some coloured bandannas? Yellow is normally the Bees and Tribesmen and has nothing to do with HH. And far as I know HH is not up north. They also have no need to push ppl around, you gladly step aside for them...

Nope we didnt have any gang colours, leathers, patches except my zeal is fully yellow (could be mistaken for a killerbeez bike). Like you said its weird that he claimed to be with HH but killerbeez are prospects of tribesman in no relation to HH. Like we werent doing anything wrong just standing talking about the coro loop then the guy walks up and starts it infront of a lot of people I could tell he's one of those Maori's that cant hit us until he gets hit. I could see him hesitating with the knife but man I was pissing my pants! I cant beleive no one standing around stepped in for us or helped us out.

fuck there are some morons out there. I hate people like that cause he wouldn't evan do anything apart from getting his mates to do it for him. What a try hard tosser.

I trust you got lots of video footage on your phone to put on youtube? Either that, or take him down in spectacular fashion before he gets a chance to arm himself.

Threatening to kill, and brandishing an offensive weapon in public are very serious things to do. Especially as there were witnesses. I personally would lodge a complaint against the goober.

Trail blazer: I hear you man, the guy was literally a scum bag like he looked like he had the intelligence of a squirrel people like him ruin society they should all just fucking die.

Dangerous Bastard: I was to scared to do anything at the time, I had the feeling he was going to try stab me or Quinton and take one of our bikes. Im just pissed that out of all the bikers on the road our group had to be the one to deal with that scumbag.

tri boy: The police wouldnt bother it I should of called them when it happened, all I can say is to all bikers dont go to Rawene or use the ferry this summer, if you do and find a guy about 6ft4 Maori with missing two front teeth with a yellow bandanna walking up to you call the police and get out of the area.

Either A) you are totally full of shit and quite bluntly lying in which case you need to realise that there are people who will call you out on it and you will get a reputation on KB as never telling the truth
or B) you need to look very carefully at yourself and ask."What is it that I am doing that is attracting a bunch of angry people into my bike riding life?"
In the last 3 months I've seen three aparently very similar incidents apear in your posts.
Yasee eventually the mouth wrights cheques the body cant make good on at best you'll find yourself with a bit of a beating worst case youll be lying on a slab with a tag on ya toe.
Think about that road rage incident in western springs recently.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

That's a rare occasion. I know that you don't usually do that. Which track did you go on bro?

Me? I arrived into Sydney airport after a long flight from Frankfurt at 6:47 AM. Ever since then, I have been waiting on transit here for my final flight to AKL. Transit time was 12 hours in total, now just 4:45 hrs to go. Luckily SYD airport is bigger than I thought with pleanty of free internet and other ways to pass time. I had so many go's on Gran Turismo on PS3, that I managed to save enough credits to buy a Ferrari 512...

Man... can't wait to jump on that plane home...
