Can we on here warn bikers re businesses who rip us off?

I am not asking for flaming. I am looking for warning decent guys/gals re assholes like TransPro etc. Surely we could somehere here have a "Watch out for these rip off artists" and then a link from there to the ones who have been ripped off?

Shit, if we can not help each others then what is the point?

And before you start to cry re decent businesses that has made a simple mistake; They should not!

How bout a section with a heading like: Bike Related Businesses To Be Wary Of:

And then list them with the KB members names who have something to say.

Come to think of it, why not have a list of the others to. I love the stuff I read re the MC Doctor!

May the bridges I burn light the way.

I think thats a bad idea. It presents a conclusion, rather than a "what happened for me" account, suggesting readers are incapable of thinking for themselves.

Be all means, post a detailed account of what happened for you. Name names if you deem it neccessary, but make sure you include every little detail, so that readers are well placed to form their own opinion. The onus is on the poster to make sure they are correct, because if they are not then they leave themselves wide open for at least egg-on-face syndrome.

Maybe www.nocowboys.co.nz already provides for the above.

Your "friends" at TransPro seem to have a good writeup:

Not really any room for forming ones' own opinion there.

It's not against the rules to post your own opinion and experiences, but doing so on this site can turn a single, unfortunate incident into a Tar and Feathering so fast it's not funny. Business people work hard to maintain a good image but the internet has way too many dickheads who don't give a shit.

As davebullit posted above, it's far better to post what happened to you on a site like www.nocowboys.co.nz and then refer to it.

To clarify: not against the rules but very bad form and should be discouraged

A trial giving the accused no chance of defense? Not something I support.

can i name all the clients that have stiffed me over the years, like the cunt who supplied his own tiles for me to tile his bathroom then complained that the tile quality wasnt what he thought it would be (different sizes not square) like you get with cheap tiles then held back $1800 or the solo mum who didnt pay the $400 to plaster around the new windows, or the guy who shaved $500 of everybodys bills on a renovation of his house or the prick who got lots of extra work done then refused to pay for it

Yep its a funny old world that the coin is two sided, and when the other side of a story is heard, its amazing to hear the difference between the two, yep there are some dodgey busnesses out there, and some just as dodgey customers.

Fair enough. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Each of those things is a "sure win" in the small claims court.

    Stand up for yourself.
