What's my CR250 worth?

Good stuff Darryl,as long as your happy with your new bike,but pleeeeeease don't join the KTM cheer squad that runs rampant on here,talking up their bikes and eluding that anything other than a KTM is crap......

dude, im just wrapped to be getting a bike thats not 7 years old, Im hoping for a massive difference from the 03 CR250. MOTAT called today asked if I was interested in donating the CR lol

Jeepers mate I have never read a post on here saying "anything other than Ktm is Crap"? Haven't seen many "go orange" posts here lately due to your sensitivity on the subject. It has certainly killed all that off!
We can't help that the japs don't make 2 smokers no more, we can't help Ktm make damn good bikes, for some strange reason we can't seem to help singing Ktm's praises once we do buy one and we can't change the 2010 shoot out results posted here! But I've never heard anyone call anyone elses bike crap! I think maybe you have the issue? There will always be Ktm, Honda, Kawasaki, Holden, Ford cheer squads, its life.

Btw: I'm actually a Kwaka man of many years owning a 78 Z1R and I've had two CR's and I own a four stroke honda trail bike right now. I'd look at a four stroke if they where anywhere close as cheap to maintain as a 2smoker. But I still like the snap of the 2smoker even though I'd probably go quicker, easier on a four stroke.

Enjoy your new ride Redrider was it this CR I/we put the piston into at Barty's, goin good by the looks? 3k is a good buy for someone I reckon.

Ahhh the beauty of the written word that shows no emotion...........my comments are only ever a bit of banter Reckless..................i like any bike and as my riding crew have all colours i enjoy a little blat on them all.....and i love the bit about the 450 shootout,spose Kawasaki can't win every year 450 and 250(he says with a smile and in jest)............

I'm gonna miss that bike!.. Oh well, i'll get another one in about 4 months. Plenty of time to save up!! Gotta get this knee fixed up! No use having a good bike just sitting there.. You'll be stoked with it darryl =D

Yeah man that's a nice step up(no offence to your Honda),i should be back on the bike soon so i'll catch you out on the Trails at some stage..........

My reasoning for a buying a KTM
1. I dont want a 4 stroke (my opinion they are boring to ride) just my opinion
2. I dont like late model kwaka, suzi, yam, and I wanted a change from honda.
3. I ride 98% in tight trees and more technical stuff
4. the wife told me to buy one, and who am I to argue.. YUSSSS

I can almost guarantee you wont see any orange on it once Ive finished with it though. haha
Guess that makes me old, grey haired and menopausal.... lets not forget that next time Im passing LOL

Nah all jokes aside, it sounds like a good bike for the ridding you like so I'm sure you'll be chuffed. Can't wait to see the graphics!
