I have to confess though, was pillion on bike last weekend. Wore all gear except my Rjays pants (jeans instead). Managed to get impressive bruise on left knee doing a spectacular mismount at gas station (yes my face was red). My knees were pock marked with red spots from kamakaze insects. Will be looking at a pair of draggins I think for jean wearing days as was very aware of not having extra padding in the right places
It is entirely possible to teach an old blond new tricks!!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !

yes, you are correct. well kind of.
i'm not into chick power (wtf's with that anyway). It's a passion thing....it's a hobby thing, it's a escapism thing, it's a confidence thing, it's a rush thing....haha tight leathers.
you do crack me up. it's all about the protection!!! My skin is precious.
replace your helmet Runera. It may not have a scratch on it but it has taken a hit and helmets are only good for one bashing...its now compromised.
Yeah, agreed. I would have been pretty happy with the RevIt stuff if it had fitted me properly. Alas, it didnt (their smallest size too). Way too many baggies and creases for a new set of leathers.
They DEFINITELY need to 'hug the curves' for starters.
As for the guy who commented about the C90. Yeah, agreed. Ive binned it on-track a number of times (when I was young) and no major issues. Just scuffed leathers, and sore body the next day... The worst was a ground-off side of the little finger where the reusch gloves didnt last the slide (not to mention the heat burns... noone mentions the heat burns)... But my record on the farm was an over-the-handle-bars on a 3 wheeler... broken shoulderblade and collar bone, and a pierced lung from the collar bone... no grazes or scratches, but then I just kinda 'hit' and didnt go any where.. only recollection was looking over my shoulder back at the trike, as I was was sailing through the air, thinking 'oh F**K, I hope that doesnt land on me'...

Don't you start thinking you are all good now. I came off exactly the same as you and slid for ages and basically walked away from it.
Both of us mostly burned all our nine lives in a single incident, so for myself it is now time to be really careful - not think I will be fine.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
