Opinions of 2 Degrees' cell coverage in Wgtn. Service ok?

Hey, did a search & didn't find. What is opinion of 2 degrees in wellington for coverage or any issues with them?

The Wifey mainly sends txts & not that many so we have her a prepaid, but I do want her to be able to call me. Seem pretty cheap. Worth changing from Voda?

That was despite her first nights sharing the room with an RS125 chassis. Bedroom furniture innit?

Can't comment on the Wellington coverage, but I can tell you that they've answered service calls in a timely manner for me, and had and existing (Telecom contract) phone number switched over and the phone delivered within a working day.

Wife brought a new phone from Telecom the following week... 90 minutes on the phone to them, 4 days for delivery, camera didn't work... Telecom shop wouldn't help (till I spewed at them, phone was from telecom.co.nz/shop)... and yet we still have two phones, one of which is 'to return' when they send us a courier bag. That was 2 months ago... still no courier bag, and they've just seen fit to charge for the replacement unit. Boy are they going to love talking to me when I get home Oh no, that's right, they're not... some stupid Indian girl is gonna cry tonight.

Aye. Been very happy with 2degrees. Went from spending $50 a month with Vofafone, to $15 with 2degrees.

No coverage issues at all, in fact, at home, the service is better than Vodafone's was.

Its better than vodaphone. Cos you automatically roam on vodaphones network (but at your 2degrees rate) when you are out of 2 degrees range.

Fuck you said it man... they wouldn't do shit to help at the shop because it came from the Telecom online store... so I rang them on their 0800 number, and was told of course they could help... so I went back to the shop, had the lady on the phone talk to the gimp at the store, and then reamed him out when he got off the phone with her, and then made sure the manager and every other knob in the shop knew that I was snakey too.

Was definitely the last straw after spending so long on the phone and being told specifically to go to a local telecom shop for service. Stupid gook serving us tried to lie to the lady on the phone too... she asked if he had tried pulling the battery and reseting it, which he said yes to... but he didn't count on her asking us the same question after speaking to him, and of course we'd watched him try the camera only and nothing else. Telecom Northlands Mall can suck my balls.

Both my wife & I have changed from telecom to 2degrees. We have 2 boys over in Aussie & at 9cents a text compared to 30 cents with telecom or vodafone it was an easy decision. Reception, well 2degrees use the vodafone network where they don't have coverage so all is good. Result happy customers.
