What can ya say, the track costs more to hire yada yada yada...........

$260 for a weekends racing is still cheaper than 200 for a single track day. And ya get to hang out with some truly accomplished riders rather than track day heroes.......

You got that wrong there Shaun, as Round 4 is $180.00 for Non Vic Club Members and $130.00 for Vic Club Members and our entry fees for this years Nationals is much cheaper than last year so therefore we are hoping to see alot more Racers out on the track competing. I look forward to receiving your Entries before February 5th. After the 5th you will be hit with a $50.00 late Entry Fee so get those Entries in NOW.

Actually its $290. Last year at Pukekohe was $250. Not nearly as high I thought it could have been when you consider a trackday costs $199 for one day.

To get the same return they would have got if they'd spent that much money on commercial rental properties they would need to charge each entrant about 8 grand.
Its a bargain if you look at it like that.

Stop being a drama queen, $260 isn't that bad, I don't see the problem really. This is a brand new track, they have to pay the bills somehow. In all honesty I think it's pretty good value, I was anticipating a $300+ entry.

Edit: I just found it's actually $290 and looking back Puke last year was $250. A $40 increase is nothing, the two tracks don't even compare.

    hmmm

    290 entry
    100 friday
    4 tanks of diesel x 65 bucks a pop = 260
    food/accom/fuel and stuff - 300 bucks
    ferry - 320 bucks

grand total to be a f3 back marker at the TT for the weekend- $1270
    excluding tyres for the round.

people wonder why the grids are small sometimes??? Judging from alot the club racers i get round with 160 was more than they could part with at the gp.

That being said i should be there. such is life. stupid hobby.

Fortunately for me my old dunga is Pre '89 which is a support class and only $150 so I'll enter that instead of F3
