Neels, I owe you a beer next week!!

The ride home was good, got onto Pound road and as we headed by the airport, looked to the right and saw a lovely Jetstar airplane was coming into land!
No worries........then I must give you a bling for being a well behaved Grasshopper on the back and thanks for the beer

Well, was nice & was glad I left a bit early, but not very nice at all having two drunks to deal with on the Old West Coast Rd - one was wandering all over both lanes at 100Kmh - finally managed to get her keys after she stalled turning off to avoid me after I had to keep flashing the high-beam to get her to not go into oncoming traffic (had it on lots with hazards to warn every one - the vanette I'd passed a km back was already on *555 but without something happening she'd have totalled someone)... Then one of the "helpers" that stopped after we'd got her keys was about as drunk, and had her primary-school age kid in the front too. Finally 111 comms managed to get a unit, but not the best hour!... the "nice man" was going to help her with directions to get home, but as he said, probably with a "stop" along the way.

Anyway - always ride defensively, there could be a prat like that coming your way... sorry, but still flabbergasted at the second one turning up too.

PS - hint - need Jap automatics in PARK before the key can come out! Getting out of P - to roll the car off to the verge - will need the brakes applied (and she couldn't find the pedal!)... seriously, for all the hassle, I'd almost be tempted to just get the keys and throw them as far away as possible next time, and let the whoever sleep it off, and buy new keys. The keys would probably be about the same as their fine ($600 plus) and a lot more immediate; at least they'd probably be off the road (or out of the alcohol) until they fronted up the $$$!
He who shall go stately at the back and not stress out.
So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

Definately a well behaved passenger, apologies for trying to bounce you off the back on the roadworks at pound road and for the abrupt braking, I'm oiling my sticky front brake lever now before I forget again

The landing aeroplanes look even better when they're right above your head at about 200ft

Apologies for not seeing the ride through. The wee fella had a change of heart by the time we got to the end of Fitzgerald Ave so we turned for home. I txted ahead as soon as I could in case we were missed, hope we didn't inconvenience anyone. God knows when I'll be able to get along to another WNR.

Nice to have a few straights yesterday but one downside for me leaving early... got completely owned by bugs on the way home! Loved the sound of that 675 btw
    It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

    Not sure to be honest.
Do think I should buy another bike or sell this one for another one?
Maybe after you change again, your pretty good and at buying and sell as well you know.
At least I keep them for a bit longer than a week or two.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Wow, that's unfortunate... when we saw you, you were taking it super careful to the point where a lesser bike would've been lugging the engine. He'll come round

Nah, managed to get her off onto the rd behind Mcleans Island - Coulthards? - and we had hazards on from there (yep, sad BMWs have them as std)...

When do the pubs close again? certainly seemed to be a bit of a "witching hour" around 8:30-9pm!!

Also goes to show (for the newbies and oldies) - watch out for crap at night! These dipsticks do their sideswipes / near misses & everything else and the rubbish on the road just stays & stays... The "lady" we got dealt with had a door that wouldn't shut again and a (previously) shattered headlight - you don't want to be following and come across anything from either item when you're following, yet she was totally unconcerned...

Oh - HOT - it definitely wasn't a boring road last night, can do without that sort of hassle.
