if thats a missing add on how would I tell my phone not to use the pda style so i can upload pics ?
If your keen SpankMe, I see that this lets PDA users change the style back:
    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=229044
    Refer to:
"Optionally adds links to default style (in footer or navbar)"
    or
"Optionally display Style Chooser in footer".

Perhaps we might be better creating a list of "most wanted PDA style features", and then have SpankMe post a comment on the original style download site making a request to the author.

To be honest, I think it works so well now I personally wouldn't want to much fucking around to be done with it to solve an issue only one person has. No disrespect intended.

Sorry for all the posts in short succession people.

Browse to this URL to go back to the light universe:

Bookmark it, or make it your home page.

EDIT: Crap, doesn't work for me. Selects the Light Universe, detects PDA, and then changes you straight back again.

    Trudes:
The PDA style is so much faster because it doesn't implement all of the vBulletin features, and I think rep is an add on, meaning it is even less likely to be supported.
Yep figured that was what the deal was, however I still can't figure out how to get to the first unread post in a thread, which is kind of important to most. Being able to choose between the old usual style and the PDA style would be good as often it's the only way for me to access KB and if I can't give people bling they may think I don't love them anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic, so fast to load and stuff, but being able to flick between styles would be good too.

I've emailed the author of the style with a "feature request".

Not too keen on it myself. Will give it a further try but so far I preferred the standard look.

I think it may work but as Trudes says, I want to know which posts are unread and be able to go to them.

    Non-crippled?

    Most phones can run Opera.
    The iPhone only runs Safari.

Maybe we need the option from post #16:
    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...post1129622104

That allows the user to select the style that they want.

Seriously. Before, KB was fine on Safari or Opera under WM 6.5. Now it's just total crap. It effectively means that using a PDA is not an option except in emergency. F' Gawds sake, either put it back like it was or give users the option to use the munted orphan child style or not.

Oh, sorry, I should have been clearer.

I meant non-crippled in terms of functionality and speed and things like integration with youtube, not non-crippled as in the choice to run a range of mediocre browsers.

Very hard for me to test changes as I only have a basic browser on my cell which I never use. So I will just keep fiddling until people stop screaming.,
