Enjoyed my ride tonight folks. lovely turn out.
Most of you will have noticed I was riding at an unusually sedate speed for me but that's because young GEforce is under my old duck's wing and wanted some refreshers on cornering.
We did have a nasty experience on the way over the hill and those who saw my blood boiling when we arrived at duvauchelles' will be glad to hear that I actually took the bull by the horns.
The driver who was tailgating Young GEF had a personalised number plate so it was easy to remember and I *555'ed when i got home.
An official complaint has been laid for
    1) tailgating
    2) stopping in the middle of the road to verbally abuse us after we had pulled over to allow him to pass.

I was just so angry that he would stop in the road and abuse us for going too slow when an L plate is clearly visible. Just no need, no need at all.

rant over I feel better now and it was a lovely night for a ride!!

If anybody else saw RQ's incident please also report it to *555. The rozza are a lot more likely to act on a multiple complaint.

Thanks Flip but we were the tailender's. Was just the young lad, my young Matt and myself and the nasty nasty rude man in the cage ( that was tame RQ) on the road at the time.
Just so so glad another vehicle didn't come flying round the corner while he was stopped in the middle of the road cause I wouldn't be typing to ya now!!

seconded, and don't mind running interference for any learners; good chance for me to practice some lines & countersteering (as long as they don't freak at the old geezer with the huge headlight, too).

I also hope this isn't becoming a WNR tradition to involve the thin blue line... me with my "swervy lady" last week, you with your "uncouth youth" this...

Just need a bigger can of ground clearance.

I had one or two flying around in there.
And I for got now hard they feel, when you hit them at speed.
Still fun tho and so much free-er.

    Report him here, I have:

    https://forms.police.govt.nz/forms/o...watch-report/9

The more people that report him, the more likely he will be 'talked to'

Lovely night for a ride last night, what a lot of people out

Stopped briefly at little river to let the green truck get out of the way and then carried on. Caught up to a white mazda that came to almost a complete stop for the left hander at the bottom of the last little hill over to duv. Yikes. Brakes. Then he pulled left at the interesection at the top, I was about to go past then realised as he pulled right again that he wasn't letting me go he'd just missed the corner. Yikes. Brakes. So passed as soon as i could outside the pub, carried on to akaroa & got hassled by the wife for managing to ride through at exactly the time the bikini clad girls were walking down the street.

Didn't have any problems with being held up by the l-plater and her attendant on the way home. I have a healthy collection of bugs on the visor of my new helmet. I like new visor, I can actually see where I'm going when I turn into the sun now
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

    Glad everyone got home safe!!!

Shame about the dickheads last night RQ. You handled that superbly.
I would like to lock all of them up on an island where they can play "bumper cars" with each other.

    Garry's rant over.

Where are we off to next week???.....................Greta Valley???
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!
