    Learners' insurance?

I got my learners in November and I'm just getting round to buying my first bike. A problem that I'm seeing is that it is waaaayyyy more expensive to insure your bike if you're on your learners. The bike is only worth about $2000 and the cheapest insurance I've found so far is about $400 per year with swann. State doesn't insure learners and AA said don't even bother asking for a quote. Can anyone reccomend a company that I can insure with that has cheap 3rd party theft and fire.

Should be about $250 for 3rd party fire and theft. About $400 for full insurance.

Go for NAC. They are the cheapest for me anyway. Just because you've got a 6L doesn't mean that you have to pay a lot for insurance. When I got my 6R, I notified NAC and they reduced the excess but not the premiums (maybe something to do with the fact that I crashed my car during that year, which NAC also insure).

ive gone from AMI to nac.... dropped my premiums from $750 to $450.... and thats with increasing the value from $4000 to $5000..... good company
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
