If you have a race car and use it on the race track, or if you have a custom car and enjoy driving around in it there is no problems. It's when the mix of drugs, dumb kids, and POS "race" cars being raced on the road. By POS I mean unsafe illegally modified street cars.

Then the dumb ass kids say something like "we are being treated like Jews", well I don't see any extermination camps being built do you?

Life is tough grow a pair of balls and become a man or start behaving like one.
So you've finally clarified that your not against so called "boi-racers" but rather against the illegal and dangerouus ones. Well the whole fuckin point of this thread is about how this unfairly targets those that are both safe and legal. The ones breaking the law, hurting people and crashing, driving illegal POS "race" cars are already doing something illegal!

Now I'm doing something illegal if i go round the block twice? See the point now? Or still too busy raging against the same people i also think are spineless losers?
    Yeah, nah.

Hang on, I hate boi racers......but don't think bikes are clean.

When we start drinking and using drugs in public.
    - You mean a group ride?
When we start pouring oil on the road so our POS bikes can do burnouts.
    - Well we don't do that yet - seems we are better lowsiding it to get the oil out.
When we start cruising around looking for trouble at nights.
    - Group ride part 2
When we start illegally modifying our bikes so they are not safe to use on the road.
    - So you ride an OEM harley? standard pipes?
When we start using the public roads like our own private race track.
    - Group ride part 4
When we start gathering together in our hundreds on the side of the road and shoot guns and throw bottles at the police.
    - Group ride with the Mob/Few/Highway
When we are all easy to identify because we all ride the same sorts of POS bikes and wear our helmets backwards.
    - German helmets, fluro helmets, Harleys, Triumphs, K1-9's, Fireblades.....
When we start to kill and injure other innocent road users.
    - We are pretty new to this however if the US is a good indication, more bikers we get - we will have this sorted in the next 20 years.
Well there will be a few new laws made and the cops will be able to take our scooters and arrest us for being well a dumb ass.

How about now - you scared?
Group ride part 3 is "owning the road" - giving abuse to other road users rather than moving on, sneaking up on people while filtering, assuming we can park anywhere....

So if you have a custom car and you are not racing on the road, then you are not a boi racer. You are a boi some thing else like say classic or custom vehicle collector. Is it that OK?

If you cruise around at night (2200 to 0500), looking for trouble, in a convoy, in a noisy vehicle then you are probably a boi racer. If it looks like a turd, and smells like a turd well its probably a turd.

If you are a boi ccc (custom car collector) and you cruise around at night, in a convoy, in a noisy vehicle then you are probably a turd.

I can see why you could find this confusing.

Define the term 'racing'. If I'm driving home from work in a 'boy racer' type vehicle on a Friday night after 10 and there just happens to be traffic around me, then am I in a convoy?

For the very young 'somebodys' benefit: I wasn't talking about gang members when I mentioned the above. (dunno where you got the idea it WAS)

And I doubt even if it WAS gang members I was talking about that their cigarette butts they apparently leave everywhere would compare with the KFC boxes, Maccas wrappers and the dozens of 'V' bottles and cans boi racers seem to leave/throw around the neighbourhood.countryside.

The police know who they really want targeted with this law. As far as gangs go, the organised groups of anti-social road users are pretty close. The groups are all in contact, have lookouts for racing, scanners etc etc. The police and councils, informed by police and their own observations know these groups cause the very problems they are trying to stop.

Its not there to take away everyones rights to drive or ride about, but to target specific troublemakers who do cruise in large groups and block up roads, do their thing and leave a mess behind for the rest of us.

People on foot litter just as much as people in cars. I don't understand how attempting to ban 'cruising' will reduce the litter problem.

Agreed..... and we do look at them and say "what a loser"!!

I don't care what kind of POS boi racer car it is, or when you finish work, or what a convoy is. I don't have to define racing.
I just want every boi racers, illegal POS race car when it is raced on the road turned into scrap metal. No second chances, don't care if you have stolen the keys to you dads BMW or your mothers SUV. Get seen and the car is scrap.

Oh drive home at 2200 in a boi racer car, then drive home carefully!

The kind of bullshit that you say on these forums never fails to amuse me. Guess what, boy racers are not going to go away so get over it. FTP represent!
