That would be a plan so cunning you could tie a tale on it and call it a weasel!!!!!
A 6'5" weasel. Started out three years ago with an XT600. Fitted bar-risers, but it turns out I am still growing, also, but not in the good way. The TDM was acquired to improve the power-to-weight ratio.
Bar-risers fitted to the TDM, along with wider Renthals.
Comfortable all day for the more generously sized gentleman.

The TDM is an awesome bike, quite underrated in NZ...

but not a huge amount of appeal to a 19yr old........

LOL! we posted at the same time!

TDM is an excellent tourer, bit like my old R80GS P/D & R100GS but your bike has it in the looks department compared to my last old Bema!

The 1000 was a buxom girl- purple & very ugly!

The helmet cam, if anyone wants it, should probably be worn by a slower rider as it offers a bit of wind resistance at speed so maybe it's not for you Mr. Hornet

Yeah you are right there, don't want my helmet spinning around like a windmill. Although the styley inner tube sounds somewhat appealing lol. I have an 8gb sd hc card if that is compatible with one of the cams.
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....
