    Not much detail in that background, could be a bit difficult as there are 'road ends' like that in lots of places.

    whilst there may be a few BE i think one can surmise where this is.He has given us a clue (obliquely) where it aint.So for me that leaves two places and one of those is more on his likely flight path than the other.
