    Electric petrol siphon pump

I saw these used at the track a few months ago and when I couldn't find any for myself I decided to buy a few in.

In short they are a battery operated siphon. The suction end is thin enough to fit in plenty of spaces, namely fuel cans and tanks. It is great for me for racing, I can use it to empty the tank after a race. Also it greately reduces the amount of petrol I spill when I am transferring it from the can into the jug/tank. Can also be used for pretty much any other "non-corrosive" liquids, whatever you can think of It pumps roughly 5-6 litres a minute, pretty quick compared to the good ole hand siphon pump

They don't come with batteries so require 2 D size batteries to operate. I would say that one set would last a long long time though!

Price is $40 per pump and $5 courier (for up to 3 pumps).

I've got some fairings and a tank to fix after the latest mishap at Levels so buy a pump and help out a racer

These are really handy and surprisingly fast at pumping, well worth the price!

Is the suction pipe flexible? It'll need to be to get inside the tank on my bike.
If it is I'll take one

A little bit, it is solid plastic but you can bend it a little. I have tested it on GSXR600/1000 from K6 to present, SV650 and CBR600/1000 tanks and they are all able to work on them. I can send one up and if it is unusable I can refund and get it back off you sometime?

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think it will work. I just tried sticking a bit of 1/2 inch polythene down the tank and that was a struggle.

They are supposedly able to pump diesel. I haven't tested it but can't see any reason why not. It says "any non-corrosive liquid" so I think it would be ok although I have only tried petrol and water.

Ah yes, but I don't think the diesel will work in his bike, if you get what he means...
