Likewise...I'm a bit dark about how the calender has gone this summer. Only consolation is I will be able to do the Apiti Scamper with the Palmy crew. Still, always next year. Oh, and there is some bithday thing happening sometime?????

Thats true. You dont see many there these days, I think they have all shaken to bits on the gravel roads.......

Our usual ride to the hare is Rakaia, mayfield, Geraldine, Fairley, Cave, mainsouth H/W to Waimatie.

Yeah that is the way I would go if I was coming through from Chch, so keep doing what your'e doing!!
My little detour would bring you out at Pleasant Point so you would have to back-track to Cave plus you would miss half of the nice ride between Geraldine & Fairlie.
