Great ride tonight after the disappointment of last week's weather. Some 54/55 bikes. I hope everyone has enjoyed themselves including our newly weds!!!!!!!!! Tristan's new bike looks

Someonemy lips are sealed, has broken her Duvauchelles duck and my apologies to the riders who were keeping KP company I think in my enthusiasm I pushed the boundries somewhat going over Hilltop.

McWild did you find your keys????

Max I saw you heading back. Is everything ok????

    Where to next week folks?????

    Oh BURGER!!!!!!! Bad luck Andrew.

What about Wets route next week ending up at Godley House. Won't be too far for the "old fellow" with the harley in case he has to push it home.

Yeah, just got off the pace and thought I'd not push it; dry contacts don't help (like looking thru glad wrap) and I really had to admit I'm still knackered from the ride back from Blenheim (inland via Muchison etc, too damn hot) on Monday... was thinking of turning round at Little River anyway, but I guess I'd already done my Km/sauna session limits for the week, just sadly not on the WNR! Glad to hear it was a good one, tho.

So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

Thanks FireLiv. Managed to get back in one piece as well, it wasn't as scary going up the way!

I wouldn't worry Gloplg, I was so focused on getting the seat out of my ass when I got to Duvachelle that I didn't really pay attention to who was behind me. So I've now done Duvachelle, my cherry is popped! Besides you buggered off home last week!

Peetey, thank you for your patience on the way home, greatly appreciated, your lights were a huge help! Hope the video footage turns out alright, will bring a couple of DVD's for the footage.

So not only did I manage to go over to Duvachelle, I done the riding downhill with grit and videoing it (sorry FireLiv, if I managed to get your ass in the shot) then on the way back, heading back through the grit then it got dark pretty quick so managed to get home in one piece despite the winds. Peetey, you have the patience of a saint. All I can say now is that I'll sleep like a baby tonight!

Andrew's key popped out of the ignition barrel somewhere between Halswell and about half way down Old Taitapu road.

In this case "uni commitments" = party at the student bar. Well worded Eliot.

I had trouble keeping up with you, speed demon!
Congrats to KP! Well done! And with the added responsibility of being a camera person too!
Hope you got home ok, I peeled off by the hills ...

Speaking of cameras G, I'd love to get a copy of your video so I can splice it into mine. We had at least four cameras rolling tonight

Great ride last night. Only had one real arse puckering moment coming into town on the way home.

Over took a car in an 80k zone doing 110 (yea yea I know), and nearly crapped myself when I rode past the cop car on the side of the road. Thought I'm fucked now. Thankfully there wasn't a police man inside it at the time.

Also I think I passed the rider formally known as CBR250Tom crawling along on the way home, sorry if I caused you any concern. I didn't mean to pass you going into a corner like that. I thought there was more road before the corner. It wasn't until I was just past you that I flicked my high beam on and saw the corner properly.
