I believe he would have been deliberately following the ambulance as the traffic moves aside for them.

Probably spied a fine looking honey in a car he was passing that required some perving at, and while he was busy doing so hit the ambo.

    Happens all the time.

    Did I say that?

Though many would suggest your question is a rhetorical one...

Crikey me ol'wife beater shirt wearing matey! Does this mean that you now have a Harley-esque shape impact in the rear? I hope the patient in the end was okay!

We know where you live !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Yeah, the beauty of it is that it looks like he laid the bike down and sent it across 3 lanes of traffic, and it's been him that hit the vehicle. Not a scratch on the vehicle thankfully. Huge cloud of debris, so it's gonna be pretty broken - I feel really sorry for him.

    No really.

    I do.

Having a patched bike rider hit the rear of my vehicle at ~50km/h on the Southern m'way this arvo, was a great way of:

    1) Scaring the shit out of me, my offsider and a medical team
    2) Delaying the transport of a very ill person
    3) Taking a work vehicle off the road for near on 3 hours to do paperwork and settle nerves.

Said rider picked his bike up and decamped before we could get details or ascertain injury. Thankfully my vehicle was okay, as were all the occupants.

'nuff said - please proceed to bag Harleys/Emergency vehicles/Gerbils - I've said my bit.
    was it a eye patch
