For anyone else - I live in Western Road, Laingholm(Directions from University here). On the evening of the Chillar I'll put a red bucket at the end of my driveway and try and leave bike parking space in drive.
It shouldn't matter if people arrive early, as someone should be home to keep order.
Enjoy the Huia Rd and Laingholm Dr twisties, but watch the tar snakes and new-ish seal on the middle part of Laingholm Drive (signs are out for this and a footpath under construction at top of big hill)
