    Since I have held a CPL, I have sadly never had time to go hunting in the autumn.
    Have even "lent" my .270 to my foster brother.

    As long as you can source a good barrel , still great hunting rifles.

    .303 rifles would have accounted for more large game animals than any other caliber in NZ

    Seems though that hunters are like fishermen: great at telling their exploits of conquests but rather tight lipped about the realities of their not so brilliant exploits.

    A perfect hunting record is 100% impossible to achieve, there are loses & non 1 shot kills amongst the glory of special hunts as well

    I could start a small war with what I've got locked up here 14 rifles of various calibers and ammo for all the cannon is a model 55 Marlin goose gun got a few pig slugs for it too
