Bugger and bloody hell, I didn't get out of work in time again. This job is the curse of the working class. I have made arrangements to be free next week so I can pop out. Where we going?

I wouldn't worry Flip, there were a few missing tonight, I didn't go either. Hope you all had a nice ride?

So, next week, where are we headed??

It was an awesome fresh night out, rockin, got down to a mighty 5 degrees over the Ashley bridge on the way home, and 9 degrees poping from Waikari through to the valley. Good for getting intot he groove of the 30th Brass. Bring it on uh.
heated grips are awesome, but in saying that ya still need good gloves, otherwise the backs or ya hands are gonna get chilled.

And the griso made it back, no ignition key issues... maybe it was just the fear it had that I might strip the poor girl naked again. hehe.

    Cheers peoples

Yes, thank god for putting on the thermals before going - and for heated handlebars; hot pie from GV was soon history, I reckon. On the other hand, as the Pet Shop Boys put it, "Driving through the night is so exciting!" and at least there weren't any swarms tonight... apologies for those I ended up following too, I think the headlight was a tad "assertive" (read high) so I've dropped it a bit now.

All in all a good ride - which I wasn't expecting watching the black clouds roll over the Port Hills this morning...

So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

"Road trip" you were a keen man - Good Stuff !

See tidy one on trademe at mo http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-277291504.htm

Speaking of greymouth, I scored a motard set up yesterday from there for 9 hundie, thought good deal - same value for tyres, sprockets, chain, disk alone.

Traffic officer last night ? Where was the wee ecilop ?

Cheers to Mr Daytona for the extra light sitting in behind on the way home, one of those old school bicycle dynamo's would throw out as much light as the current set up

Saturday rides ? Wouldn't ya get a better turnout making it a sunday ride with a lot of people working saturday's ?
