Hey folks, I've been meaning to make it down to a wednesday night ride for months but it's been a wild last 6 months, so many side projects, so I hope this isn't too out of place but...
One of my side projects (along with a soon to be finished FXR bucket) is a Led Zeppelin tribute band, though we've also had some fun with a few Deep Purple, Hendrix and Cream numbers, and I couldn't help but notice the theme of the party here. Now I don't know if there's room for a band at this shindig, or if it would even be appropriate, and I doubt the lads would do it for free or anything, but if there is room for a band at your place there Helen and you're keen to see what could be done, I'll ask them their thoughts etc on putting together a super budget option or something. Flick me a PM if anyway, or keep an eye out for a black DRZ and beige jacket at this weeks Wednesday night ride.
Otherwise, we've got our second gig at Al's Bar (behind Moorhouse Pak n Save for those unfamiliar with it) next Saturday, March 27, is $10 on the door. So anyone keen to hear the best music ever, played live with lights and smoke and transparent amber drums (yes I own vistalites, hell yes!), then come on down. And I'll try make it to the next Wednesday night ride!
