Yeah but that is age dependant. I think the worst mistake is to get tied down or too serious before you're 30, and just as bad is being alone after that.

Being 47yrs old means I just scrape through then.
I was married first time round for ten years, and yes, no fun being alone half way into your 30's.
We are both in it for keeps this time.

You have to say that, noone wants a carpet muncher(layer) because ya knees are rooted.Oh wait your supposed to get her on her knees,as you were.

Seriously agree with you re 30's and single(well late)was fun times, but with maturity comes realisation life alone can be no fun.Glad my folks found other partners when they did, can't imagine them alone now they're late 60's,and lots pf folks are alone for years after their partners died,my grandmother and ma in law case and points, both husbands died when they were mid 40's and kids to look after, then never found companionship, long time alive and alone, thank god the latest generation have the right idea, age is no barrier to finding a partner.

no women are not worth it. stay single and pay for a professional lover once a week. its waaayyyyy cheaper, and you get your life to yourself.
whatever happens dont fuckin get married, thats really dumb. and think bloody hard before baking your bread in her oven. thats when you cant just jump on your bike anymore and go wherever the fuck you want. thats if you get to keep the bike, coz she gonna want a house, and a couple of nice cars first. it will become absolutely vital to be concerned about what the neighbours think of you.
and you will have to clean the house, a lot. and she will still claim she does all the housework.

Sounds like it's more about the pricking then the roses.

Gareth, Just think, out there right now is a beautiful (is in the eye of the beholder), exciting, honest, loving woman who's wondering if there 's any 'nice' guys left. Maybe you both haven't bumped into each other yet... or maybe you have

Stay true to who you are & the right lady will know

and i'm here wondering if men really are worth the hassle.

We all make some bad choices and from those situations comes learning. Learn and move on, there is always better out there...well I'm going to believe that and when I met Mr Wonderful I'll let you know

you only have one life, if you sit still for long enough for one female of the species to trick you, then you are the fool.

I'm with Mudfart (except for maybe the use of prostitutes). Women will use their wiles to draw you into their trap and then slowly and subtly they begin to drain your life, your freedom, and your money away. So subtle is it that you don't notice UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE!

Finally, when you realise, you try to escape! But lo! They have ways of keeping you in their clutches. They are not afraid to use any and all of the sinister tools they have at their disposal! (and believe me, there are many)

The lucky few who ultimately do make it out alive are left permanently scarred. Although they have been through much terror and hardship a void has been left in their life as they no longer remember how it is to live alone and free. In the end the void is too much to bear and the only way out is to once again fall prey to a woman's grim designs...

Except men are (are generally) much less subtle.
