I was robbed! Well not me but I was there..

Had an interesting start to my day. I stopped in at the Eastridge P.O. on my way in to get the mail and pick up some courier bags.

As I approached the counter behind the local Lotto lady and a young Maori lad, we heard a commotion behind us and turned to see the ACM, (Armourguard), guy have a shotgun pointed at him and his bag snatched. It was over in about 10sec!

The two robbers jumped into their no doubt stolen BMW and hightailed out and North along Kepa road.

They were totally brazen as the act took place right in front of the security camera. The AMC guards, a man and a woman were amazingly calm and composed throughout it all. The Police were called of course and in a few minutes the chopper was circling and sirens were getting rapidly closer.

The young Maori lad, who had just popped in to cash a cheque was gobsmacked as he and his mate had just been laughing about the AMC van pulling in and speculating whether it was going to be robbed. We had been waiting outside for about 5min for the P.O. to open and we saw the BMW pull up but I took no notice of it, whereas the lotto lady had thought it didn't look quite right but said to herself she shouldn't stereotype the occupants...

We were all interviewed as there were several witnesses outside the shop at the time as well.

I complimented the guards on their composure and the lady said she was definitely shaken up despite appearing calm and the poor bloke... It was the second time he'd been robbed by armed offenders in recent weeks!

I hope they catch the sods real quick!

Isn't it lucky we have all those gun laws in New Zealand. Imagine if the criminals had guns

South Africa has much stricter gun laws than NZ. And every second nigga over there has a (illegally owned) hand gun.

You shoulda swung around and kung-foo'ed him and made him scream for his mommy. The chances of missing are quite high though, and maybe he woulda put his gatt in your ear and made you scream for yours..

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending upon the probable outcome, I was too far away to be effective. I was at least 5m away and the bad guy was in and out before I could even register what was going on. There was also the risk that the gun could have gone off and shotguns are a bit all over the place, not like a pistol...

Glad little ol' Nelson doesn't get much of that crap, think the last one here was the corner dairy with a pocket kinfe, offender was about 14.
Glad you came through it all unscathed and that nobody was hurt or killed.

Perzackery! Even if it was my money, I'd be careful about tackling an armed man.

He delegated this to me. (we are actually friends)

This would never happened while Liabour were in power, Clark and Cullen would have seen to it that they had the use of their ministerial BMW's for the getaway car!

This John Key can't be trusted, he's a slimy bastard he won't lend them his BMW and I bet it wasn't him who loaned them the shotgun either, Clark was good like that!

Gosh the United Nations are doing a lot of good work now Clark's over there fucking up freedom, oops I digress, fuck that Key he's a slimy cunt!

Maybe next time she won't be in such a hurry to be PC and realise that there may infact be some value to that feeling that tells you "somethings not right" when certain people are around...
