    K&N air filter wanted

Can anyone point me to a good place around the Auckland area where I can get a K&N air filter for a GSX-R600/K6?

Would Repco/Supercheap sell these for bikes or do I need to head to a specialist bike shop to get it?

    Cheers!

Pretty sure you can get K&N from both Repco and Supercheap

What's the motivation for buying a K and N, mate? Unless you plan on having the bike forever and want to save money on replacement OEM filters I wouldn't bother. From personal experience I reckon you'll be underwhelmed if you are expecting any noticeable performance increase. Do your homework before you lay down the cabbage.

Performance will not increase much, granted. Induction noise may increase slightly....
The main advantage of a K&N is if you accidentally park your bike down wind of a grass enduro that turns into a dust storm, at least you can SERVICE your filter....

Well, that's what happened to mine....
Good think I was able to clean it rather than pay $200 or so for an OEM paper one...

My helmet on the other hand.... Well, at least my new one will have washable lining...

They're good prices! You can stop looking now. I've heard BMC fit slightly better than K&N but are slightly more expensive. Not at TZD.

When I got mine, an OEM replacement was going to cost more than a K&N

The "Company" I work for cleans filters every day too.... But there is no way I would bother getting my paper filter cleaned though.
Especially when my K&N cost me $30.
    Not worth the risk.
