I took down smoko and wheeled her outside for about half an hour to sit in the Sun.....
Smoko was a flask of boiling water/two cups/ coffee/sugar and milk. Made Anne a real coffee.

Yeah, she was very appreciative of the chance to have a real coffee rather than the muddy water they serve there. Maybe that was what perked her up by the time we arrived. (Thought it was seeing me that caused the gleam in her eye... )

Anne had a good nights sleep.
Where she is, there is now windows or natural light, its an internal ward.
So thats been pretty tough on its own.
Just waiting for the doctors to do thier rounds and give a pass out of there. Fingers crossed anyway!
The rash is now nothing like it was, but the Doc's have the last word eh?

That's 2 better nights in a row! Excellent! I'm sure she'll feel much better today! If you're not getting out until after 5 you could call in on your way through, though she will probably be impatient to get back home.

Im going to get down there soon Ed, they have her discharge papers filled out, but dosen't want to leave without a script for some Blood Pressure pills.
They have had her off all BP meds for a day or two now.
They have also shifted her down the hall a bit into another room, the hospital is filling up fast today Anne reckons.

Yeah, I think that's what she's a bit nervous about. What meds they will try her on. Hope they find something she can tolerate well.

I am home. Thank you to all of you for your good wishes, calls, visits, texts etc. It has been an interesting experience for sure and one I am in no hurry to repeat. I have gained 7 kilos of fluid I am so swollen, and now my body resembles a bruised spotty swollen thing Absolutely knackered. The docotor assures me that all will resolve over the coming weeks and return to normal. They have stopped all steriods now (far out I have been pumped up on them big time for the past week) basically they believe that it has turned the corner now and should continue to abate. If not I can always redsort to 111 again I have been signed off work for the next week to allow more healing time, hopefully that will be all it takes. I am currently covered underACC so that is good news. Mind you 80% of 5/8s of SFA is not a lot, but certainly better than a kick in the pants.

New BP pills have been taken, fingers crossed eh. Seems the thinking is it was not so much the one pill that caused the problem but the combination of the one I was already on and the new one, talk about special I have to get a medic alert bracelet too.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Thank God.

Really pleased to hear that you are on the mend (albeit slowly). I hope you manage to get plenty of rest - 7 kilos is a hell of a lot of fluid! (Don't fall over or anything silly like that - mmmkay??)
