You are obviously a good, caring guy who was out with his kid having some 'you' time, trouble is, the red tape encased ticket clippers of this world see you as a threat and it is a fucking shame.
I ran a shopping centre in Auckland for a couple of years, I am a trained first aider and have all the qualifications to administer CPR. However, the coporate pigs that run our malls would not let me use CPR if some poor bastard collapsed in front of me for 'health and safety' reasons. In detriment to my employment with these scum, I challenged that very vigoursly. My duty of care, my fucking right to do the right thing would be to help someone in need seeing as I have been trained to doi so. However, the health and safety angle of this company became an 'insurance issue', in other words, let the poor person die rather than let an employee try and help them and have a possible 'issue'. That was the line from their wanky risk managers.
So mate, I know 200% where you are coming from with your rant, and it is well in order.
One of the many things I love about kiwi's (and especially bikers) is their will to look out for themselves and others, cut through the crap and get on with life. Do the right thing, see thieir mates right and take care of their famillies. This is being stripped by those fucking people who enforce unneccsssary H&S crap on us, just for the sake of clipping a ticket.
You got my vote mate, fuck 'em all
