    Auckland Bucket numbers

Just had a trawl through the results so far this year to find a number that hasn't been used and thought this might be useful for anyone turning up for the first time.

Updated Auckland again following May round.
Added column to easily filter North Island for those moving beteween tracks.

I just grabbed the numbers from this seasons results.
JC had a spiel about numbers at the begining of the season and I think the gist was first in best dressed.
I know Damien has changed as there were a couple of 15s floating around for a bit and this is the sort of confusion John was hoping to avoid.
The current holder of the 15 plate was quite happy that it wasn't him getting kicked up to the A grade when he worked out what was going on.

good on you I put our numbers up as we dont realy want to loose them and would like to keep them for the TRRS as well
and yes as JC pounted out if you turn up with the same numbers as somone that has run already this year please change them
we often run the same number with 2 riders
one in A grade and one in B grade. As long as wendy knows it's all good (that way we can have 2 riders and one bike. Very good if the wife wants to race as well)

Except for the fact that she hates my bike. Hence the need for another number

As my number has been taken, I've decided to go for 44.
Not as though I'll be racing any time soon (yeah, you can leave the soon off the end of that).
Oh another thing, we've got a black ice cream lid if anyone wants it. Will try to remember it next meeting.

Excellent Henk. I originally tried "15" as that is my motocross bike number. When I later found out that it was already taken, I used my photos and the WLG numbers list to choose the number "83". Thanks for creating the list to make it easier for everyone.

    Hi Henk
    Number 82 is me
I brought the FXR150 from my brother and he got a new number for his new bike.
    Thats why it should read
    #82 FXR150 Grant Farquhar
    #86 NSR-GL145 Graham Farquhar

    Cheers

Number 13 is up for grabs in Auckland, too, as Henk changed it to 113 because KenDog got his entry in first for TRRS last year

Yea sure that was the reason. Reality is you just wanted to be more like me so chose a number as close as you could

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

A national spreadsheet like you've done Henk would be a good idea so when we all turn up somewhere together we don't have to piss about changing a whole heap of numbers.
We have an ongoing record of Welly numbers in a thread somewhere...... and I trawled through all the results from Auck, Chch and HB before picking my number and couldn't see anyone else using 16 before I stuck that on my bike, so yeah

Does it need to be like speedway and have a letter next to the number? I did a number search a while ago between the north island centres like Trudes did and there was a huge amount of double and some cases triple-ups. Id say the only people that really need to worry about it are the ones that are travelling, but it is great to have a database to try an avoid double-ups where possible.

    Non-Auckland bucket numbers?

There's a thread with the Wellington numbers - with comments on the last page that the first post can't be edited and suggestions how to go about fixing that.
I didn't notice the date, but guess it's more recent than November last year - so, my question is, does anyone have an up-to-date list of the Wellington numbers?
Also, is there a list of the Hawkes' Bay riders' numbers somewhere?

It really is only a problem for out-of-towners and newbies, but hopefully, with the N.I. series (two rounds to go), the amount of people travelling to the different tracks will increase. The tracks are all so different, the atmosphere is always good (and so far the weather god has been kind) and for those of us in Auckland, it's a great excuse to get the hell out of Auckland.
