I give a wave to all riders, even scooters around town and vespas out on the open road. I was riding up to Whanagrei last week, earlyish morning, and a bit of sun strike obscured the rider coming towards me. I give them a wave and they give me a friendly/enthusiastic wave back. I was pretty stoked 'cause riding a 250 I often get snobbed . He goes past and I see in this order: he's wearing a reflector vest > its a BMW > it's got blue and yellow checkers painted on it > its a m'cycle cop!
Anyone else been given a wave from a m'cycle cop?
