What are the roads like Darryn? How long do you estimate the ride (itself, not the break for coffee) will take?

Roads really good with a bit of everything (no gravel) and suitable for all riders
I think it would roughly be 50 minutes to a hour to the Short Straw Cafe from Waikanae and then from there to back via Whitemans Valley, Te Marua then Paraparaumu allow 1 hour to 1:20 at a guess
Just depends on how the regrouping goes
Lovey ride out there and worth the look

But the ride is not leaving Waikanae until 1pm. What do you plan on doing for 1 and a half hours while waiting for the other riders to arrive?
As I haven't been on a decent bit of a ride for more than a month now, I'll head up to Waikanae and ride down from there.
Or are you planning on meeting at Haywards at 12 to ride up to Waikanae?

I might tag along. Havent been to a Wednesday or Sunday ride for quite some time! And the little wee GN needs her legs stretched (dodgy? )...
See what I'm up to around 1.30ish, and I might meet up at Pautahanui
    Yeah, nah.

Yep, see you there at midday.
Weather here is not too bad, overcast, bit of a breeze, but it will stay dry I think,
Perfect weather for riding the bike, not too hot, not too cold.

Well that was a nice ride, I will definitely ride with you guys again.
Had a few good laughs at the Shortstraw Cafe.
Only took two pics, one of the Hutt Valley and Martinborough crowd at the top of the Peakakariki Hill on the way to Waikanae and one of the initial group at Waikanae.
    Nice bike Katie
