    Just to clarify, bike entry?

I am so getting the racing bug nd after sitting on the sidelines for far too long want to get out amongst it.

the bike in question will be my 1998 ZX9r. i think I got this sorted but appreciate ppl in the know just clarifying in case I missed something.

I think my bike is only eligable for F1 or clubmans. I dont really have an interest in getting in the way of the F1 bikes TBH.. I lap manfield in 1.20-1.23s now so putting myself out there with the big boys might just be such a fish out of water and lead to pissing everyone else off!.

So to get some experience and the taste of the bug... Clubmans is the only other class I can enter? At this stage im thinking its probably a good start anyhow.

I miss my 98 ZX9R...they are suweet bikes!!! If I were you mr cowboy, I would be thinking about buying my 2007 ZX6R and using that instead of the ZX9R as those are awesome sport tourers but unfortunately not so much a track weapon ;-)

yep.. the 9 is staying! It is an awesome bike and yes... trackdays it shows its faults... but its so much fun......!!!

There is a 07 ZX10r on the horizon to replace the 9 as a touring bike (cause the 10r just seems like a fantastic tourer!) and the 9 will see out its days being ridden till I finally kill it.

I will contemplate buying a F2 bike if the gods (read.. wife) is nice to me and I get on alright with the racing gig. I might not like it.. or might find out I cant actually ride so for now, Ill just do with what I have.
