    Blah The race is on!

Being lads it's quite acceptable to drop something on the floor at home you are eating, then pick it up and keep on eating it.

Ever had one of those experiences where you've just dropped some food, and then you hear the foot steps of your pet racing over to get it, and you know you have to be quick?

Yep, just had that happen. For some reason there is a great satisfaction knowing I bet the cat to the tasty morsel.

Amazing how quick the little buggers can go when it's "out of the ordinary" food at stake (steak)....

I'm sure the cat had the last laugh.

It's arse was probably parked on that spot of floor only minutes ago.

If it's raw then it still needs to be cooked, and cooking will kill any bugs. So no worries.

You're lucky, my cat doesn't wait for my food to hit the ground before she goes for it. She often manages to intercept a piece of steak on it's journey from my plate to my mouth.
