Hey Neshi - it would be great to see you out again. But yes, I imagine the joys of uni is keeping you well snowed under. All in good time, plus there is summer to look forward to. Actually, we have been so lucky with the weather these past few weekends.

haha yea you're right. Not much fun spending so much time indoors, but it has to be done. I can probably join next weekend though, as all my deadlines are for this week.
It's good to hear you all are still riding, even though the nice warm weather has past.

I was thinking more a ride to a Kapiti venue mid winter but either is good.

    Was a most excellent adventure.

Had a bit of everything, Coffee, Cows, Dogs, That crap Gravel/Silt/Sand and fine company.

Loads of thanks to those that stopped and pointed the way, and to Carla for organising.
Special thanks to Glen for keeping the lil 250 in his mirrors on the way to the Gladdy.

Was a brisk start to the morning turning up to the top of the takas an hour early. Then
all of a sudden the top is covered in bikes was quite awesome.

Finally scraped a footpeg going up the Takas, scared the living daylights out of me.

    Cheers everyone!

Thats true - my first ever KB event was a Xmas party at Pauls place, back in 04 when KB had about 1500 members - a good night it was

Thats a good idea - let someone else pour the drinks and do the dishes. There are several options we could look at, one could be Gordys Bar - we have a good relationship with Gordy (a biker) with the Wed night and Thurs night rides.
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

Great idea , a semi local ride around the Kapiti Horwhenua and finish at Gordys for the usual.

Sounds like a fun day, sorry we missed it and catching up with you lot ! But least i got an excuse or three lol

Was expecting a southern kber for coffee, have a wrist thats having trouble holding on to dangly bits let alone a heavy clutch lever and a harley in bits !

    Next one !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
