multi taking huh..? Does that mean stealing with both hands at the same time..?

But i don't expect a revolution - too much trouble - you'd have to get offline to do it...

Actually England and NZ are better off in respect of most of those issues (being as how geeks hadnae been invented) than they were thirty years ago.

The eighties in the UK saw mass unemployment (Thatchers Millions), race riots and near anarchy during the miners strike.

NZ was near bankrupt in 1984 after years of mismanagement and about to be dragged kicking and screaming into the real world economically. Race relations had only started to recover from the nadir of the Springbok tour and massively improved over the next ten years.

We may complain about PC attitudes and Nanny State, but can you imagine a Govt these days telling you that you were only to use your car six days a week? Regulations on the maximum % you could borrow on hire purchase (nil on a new car and 50% on a used one)? Having to get an import license for a Helmet from overseas?

To paraphrase the Tory Party - We've never had it so good.

They will have a fucking major revolution on their hands if the bastards lower the fat content in pies.

You will then see the Pie Opinionist Opposition Front (or P.O.O.F) spring into life and cause some fucking aggro and no mistake.......

Oi, and how dare you say my nanny is a state, she cant help the fact that she smells of urine and cabbages

Multi-tasking - pffft. Women only claim to multi-task because they can't concentrate on any one thing for more than zero point one of a second...

Those on welfere dont mind ... and there's more of them ON than ever ...

Wars are now fought by remote control ... so fewer people get hurt ...

Dont knock the Goverment ... it's the only one we got ...

Growing gap ??? .... you of all people should know size doesn't matter ...

There's no race issues in NZ ... that the Maori Party can't tell us how it can be fixed ...

Boil over in 40 years ??? ... the heats just coming on now, so maybe ...

    Look at England ??? .... I haven't seen ALL of NZ ... YET !!!

Well the good people of new zealand wanted a centre right goverment and voted one in. Well the National party is funded by the Business Round Table so it was always going to put the needs of business first and ours second.
We got what we wanted so there is sod all we can do about it until the next election.
