Yeah I've been to a few GP's where the 500's were still 'it', and I've gotta say...a better spectacle. Just watched the GP from Phillip Island in 1989 this morning actually...awesome! The 1000's were good...but the 800's are not doing it for me nearly as much. Bring back the sideways action!!!

Funny thing is (well actually...it's hardly surprising I guess), the riders all seem to want to ditch the electronic aids as well! The spectators want to seem them go. So if the Moto GP bosses had any balls they'd leave them to Superbikes and ban them!

Everyone hates the electronics. The problem is that the manufacturers have the power when it comes to making the rules. Dorna want to make the show better for the fans, while the manufacturers want to develope better technology to sell more bikes.

Infront have more control over the rules in WSBK and the Manufacturers have to make do (except for Ducheati) but MotoGP can't afford to piss off any of the manufacturers or there won't be any bikes on the grid.
