    I can't bloody believe it

After waiting 8 months, I have finally been told that my broadband will be activated tomorrow.

Go tele-scum!!!! Hows that for quick service?

Still not holding my breath though.

Why did you wait that long?

Surely you could have changed provider after like a month if it was that bad.

    Yep, real lame. Third world!
Took 9 weeks for them to connect my phone when I moved.

With no compitition, Telecom can do what they like really.

Its an unbundled open market - why not go with someone else?

Bullshit.... The other companies cannot figure out how to make it pay so they don't bother in most cases. Telecom don't have full control at all, most of the others tell even bigger lies about their networks than Telecom..

No - I don't work for them, I just build the networks and look on as its driven into the ground by accountants.

Not bullshit Paul inNZ, maybe you need to keep your mouth shut until you know the facts

I had same problems when I was a telstra customer, had to wait for telecom.
The problem in my case is not enough room in the exchange.

i'm a stones throw away from telstra, but not close enough to be connected... and telecom can't connect me for 6 months until the local exchange has been expanded... looks like i'll be going mobile for a while (bagoshite)... aye, forefront of technology here lol...

Perhaps he was referring to the fact that any ISP can access the exchange and install the gear required to hook you into the net, Yet only Telecom are prepared to do so you should perhaps apreciate it happened at all.

Which is of course negated by the fact Telecom have raped all the money out of the system and called it profit rather then investing in a cabale network, which was what brought around our (and their) current shit state.

So yeah, Fuck Telecom, I'd like to see em burn.

Guess so as when we lived down the road, one side could get broadband the other couldn't. Different exchange's.
