Have to put my two bits in here, and not read every post.... I met my fella on a site, and I searched motorbikes, turns out he didn't have one... bugger! But lots of nagging soon changed that. I have made tons of friends through them, some still single, some happily hooked up... as to Franklin ladies... hoot hoot!!!!!!!!! We ROCK! CYA AT THE TUAKAU TAVERN, THE BAND IS PLAYING TONIGHT!!!!! GOOD ROCK MUSIC 5 PIECE

    Just read a mates profile.
I didn't know he had such a vivid imagination.
Be interesting to see how it pans out for him.

Due to the events in my personel life over the last few months and after reading this thread I thought....I'll have a looksie at this NZ Dating thing.

I have to say it's interesting. I've had about 8 pics of erect penis's and so many offers of hot and steamy sex and they can thrill me in ways I couldn't imagine (ha they have no idea who my last was!!), some msn online computer sex?????? WTF, if I'm going to allow someone to get a load of what I got....it'll take a hell of a lot more than that!!!

And then there's the stalking ones....the ones that have seen me at the gym, the one that asks do I still live in the same house, knows my name and reckons I have nice boobs!!! FFS, talk about scarey. Have not come across any that have induced me to think I may wish to met them at all, they seem to be a bunch of dirty perverted sex starved animal....oh shit, they're men what more could I expect.

Guess it's just me for now or I could go bat for the other team.....but do I really care, I have a motorbike and we just went out to play and boy did we have some fun!!!!!!
After my last experience I'm rather wary and it will take quite some time before I'd trust another.
Far out chook. I spent a fair few months on NZD and FS and NEVER got any pix like that. hmmm, perhaps i was just too scary and blunt and that scared them off? Maybe it was the image of this huge, tattooed, dreadhed that put the frighteners on? Oddly enough, my hubby and the man Im seeing now was/is straight as anything. not into motorbikes, seldom drink, funny, responsible. Genuinely nice chaps, go fgure why the heck theywould have answered my ad? Men, can't live with 'em can't live without 'em..

Chances are it won't. A lot of nice women have highly tuned bs detectors. the only ones he's likely to attract will have equally active imaginations.

That was a interesting 9 page read. Man after hearing what some of the local kb chicks said about online dating , thought it was just a waste of time , seems there are some good endings thru , So do ya get mates to write a blog bout ya self or do it yourself? ...... Guess the housewife from timaru used her split personality to do it

Seriously. honesty is the biggest thing I look for. If a chap sounds too good to be true then he is probably lying through his teeth. If you have a chikmate or the wife/girlfriend of a trusted buddy, then get her input on whether what you have written comes across accuratly and well. If you dont want answeres from slappers then say so, if you loathe pets then say so, things like smoking/drinking habits are really important to be honest about. good luck, if you seriously want to meet a nice woman, then online dating is not a bad place to start.

    Wow, 2 years?

My teenage son conned me into it, I lasted 2 weeks.
All abit to much for me.
What happened to walking up to someone you think is cute & talking to them?
Am I really that old fashioned?

    NO more than I am.

But 1st you gotta meet the buggas, think of online dating as a sifting process. Yes its likely that nearly all the people you meet wil be unsuitable one way or another, but then most of the folk you meet every day are unsuitable for one reason or another. Its just a way of broadening your selection of people.
