It's just odd that when Lorenzo fucks off at the front at Silverstone...and we have an awesome race for 2nd-5th..everyone says it's crap. Yet when Moto-2 has the same thing...it's awesome!?

Mate when the new rules came out it seemed everyone was having a sookylala that it would be shit etc etc Im not sure the lap times are even as fast as supersport but the racing is brilliant!

Ah thanks for the result Pete. Obviosly I haven't seen that race, it may have been a great one. I don't think however anyone is hating as such on MotoGP, it'sstill the number 1 class with some riveting action. But comparing numbers with numbers, 18 (maximum) bikes vs 42? It's simple. If the MotoGP class was better subscribed then there would be no discussion.

And yes thanks for the result again.

That's what I have against them. Whilst the racing is often really good...they're slower than the 250's they replace...and they don't burn oil like the smokers they replace! But...like the four strokes in Moto-GP...I'm sure I'll eventually admit defeat and get into them 100%. Times...they are a changin.

Hmm, I must have missed the anti-moto2 hype. Been looking forward to this series since the announced it and it has really delivered. 40+ bikes on the grid and apart from Mugello, the winner has always come down to the final lap! Doesn't get better than that.

As for laptimes - you're right, they're slower. At the tracks that GP and WSS have shared so far both the old 250s and Laverty's CBR have been ~2 secs a lap quicker!

Laptimes are for qualifying. I'd take close racing over quicker laptimes any day of the week.

You should pick up the moto2 crack pipe because it is addictive!

Don't do it Crasher it's an evil Dorna plot to bring back a dull as dishwater European race style to crush the tail sliding rev happy American/Commonwealth domination, pioneered by King Kenny and honed to a killer edge by Mighty Mick.

I will never go over to the dark side.

Do you not see the Moto2 bikes backing it in sideways, highsides big slappers its all on! The 250s were boring, even they had traction control on a few of them

Granted I don't quite know what the latest 250's are like.....but there is something about the fact they are way more loose that 4 strokes!
