Yea that one rider "Hernandez" was unreal at backing it in- ex Motard rider they were saying. Although it didn't look as fast as the conventional cornering approach, it was cool to watch. I would love to watch that live.

The only negative I have on the subject is that theres nothing in it for the rest of the bike manufacturers besides honda. The effect may be to stunt future development of 600/675 bikes.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

They are still running the world SS in superbikes, that is where all the development for the 600's (besides motogp and wsbk) happens. And the class they took over from was 2 stroke.
I would doubt this will stunt the growth of future 600 bikes.

I'd say most development would be derived directly from Moto GP then on to WSS for the likes of the 600s IMO. They had to do something regardless. I think they have got a good situation going with the Moto 2.

You should pick up the moto2 crack pipe because it is addictive!
Race times for a lot of the pack in the front of the GP are approaching if not beating their qualifying times on the odd lap!

Notice Schwantz's name on the nose? As I understand it he is managing the team...another mistake of Suzuki's letting him go.Just as bad as letting Spies get away and is symptomatic of there current GP programme I reckon.

Yeah when I read that he was involved...I thought the same. Still, he's been using Hondas for his schools as well as Suzukis for a while now. Talking of Hondas...you know anyone that wants a lovely 79 CR250?

I really enjoy the thrill of watching the likes of Rossi and co doing their thing for the simple pleasure of speed and skills. But have to say that they Moto2 is awesome racing as a spectator. They are close and big grids. All thats needed to be a great racing spectacle.
Only thing i would say is....would be nice to have other manufacturers building engines etc so one can pick sides to join the fan club.

And that in a nutshell is the biggest pisser for me regarding Moto2, it's a compromised premise.

A race class pushed through by Dorna and a glad-handing Honda with no real thought to true prototype racing.
