I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

gutted dude, december ain't too far away though, but if you can't wait I've always found the older/cheaper bikes are just as good anyway.

I kinda like the advice from Bogan on trying something older & cheaper. Give yourself a chance to get used to riding something with a bit more potential without a lot of cost if something silly happens. Silly things can happen to new bikes (like just falling over 'cause you're not used to the weight etc) - and it can be pretty upsetting.

Can't wait to see what you end up with but want it to be a happy and safe experience...

think I'd be far more upset to drop an old RC30 than I would a new ZX6R but yeh, baby steps can still be a hell of a lot of fun

I had similar situation (same day), but I was in my car, and only got a little bite/scratch on wrist. Hope you are healing ok.
Our Collie cross got run over and his pelvis was smashed, he showed me he found my flesh quite delectable as I attempted to load poor wee doggie into the ute. It's healing very well though thanks, all the holes in my hand got to the bone, so good bragging there.

hahaha, you make a good joke! you can borrow my vt if you want to put it back on the road though. Plenty of bikes round massey, but can't think of any that are active on here.

What does she need to get on the road? I'm moving over with a mate so I'll probably get some retarded nana car

fork seals, and two bushings in the shock linkage (it'll pass a wof without these though), also battery but I may have a spare shortly, maybe a front tyre too though only did a few hundred k since the last wof. Just get your mate to get a nana car so you can save for a bike!

Way too tempting, I'd have to scrounge some new riding gear though. Sold mine....ooops. Battery would be a ytx7lbs wouldn't it? Can find them new for around $40. Seals would be typical 37mm honda or 36mm, same as Spaduh ones? Bushings are piss easy....argh now I need bike....
