    well he's running plenty of the "chrome stabilisation system", so binning that must have been a one in a billion occurance!

    I was referring to the general rule of thumb, "the amount of attainable lean angle is inversely proportional to the amount of chrome" but your way could work too, those motogp guys sometime pick it up again after a two wheeled slide with just a knee and sometimes an elbow. Though I think he lost that option when he bailed off.

    even vannage gets more lean angle than that, though it is to the outside and some may call it bodyroll, but still, the angle is more.
