Condolences to family and friends.
I would have been very close to this had I not left work two hours earlier than normal yesterday as I always ride that route.

Ride safely my friends.
That is what you know , if he was filtering he be just knock of his bike probably by car that never indicate or check they mirrors , but this being fatal and he is 58, chances are more that he was siting in between" multi car pile up "and he was in sandwich between cars. You are way safer filtering then siting between cars !!!
Ether way another biker is gone because of fucken cages
RIP.

It's timely to remind people of this site's policy on "Biker Down" threads. Ghoulish commentary and speculation as to the cause of accidents of this type are unnecessary and disrespectful.

RIP and condolences to his family. Reminds us all to take extra care out there.
RIP biker.
Always sad to hear this kind of news. Condolences to his family
My mate and I went past minutes after the incident. Ambulance and police were there. Sinking feeling as I approached. I commute around this time using mostly the motorway everyday. My thoughts are with you and your family.

When I moved to NZ, Wayne found me my first IT contract gig and was my agent for nearly 5 years after that. He went out of his way to help me with NZ Immigration then and in general, nothing was too much trouble. He'd stop in and buy me a coffee when he was up here for business and we'd have a yarn and a chuckle. He was a gentleman and the only agent I dealt with in about 12 years of contracting (UK and NZ) that I genuinely liked. I truly find this very sad news.
RIP Wayne. My sincere condolences to his family and friends, who have lost a good man.
Ride free forever. Sincere condolences to family and friends.
