Thanks to aunty helens desire for her next job the supply of 90's fresh imports stopped which has pushed the price of older cars up.
No dis-respect Frosty, your in the game as i was for 7 years but i just cant see how this old slugs worth anything like that,2 weeks ago i went up to Timaru with a mate looking for a second car for his Mrs,we picked up a 97 Mitsi 1.3 manual hatch done 30k (yep 30) for $2250 privately, been out of the game awhile but anyone willing to pay $2000 for one of those deserves to own one.

Rather a 351C into a Cortina if that way inclined.

Yeah, rear wheel drive,it will sell for a stupid price - check out old Corolla's and Corona's,anything old and rwd is fetching ridiculous prices. They are only young once - take their money, they haven't a clue you are ripping them off.

It's "old skool" and RWD, so will sell for about a brazillian dollars. A friend sold a crappy old Toyota Starlet that she was thinking was wreckers yard material for $2k and I know a young guy who paid $2.5k for one of those heinous old early 80s Corolla station wagons (the square ones that rusted).

Personally I think the only cars worth more than $500.00 are classic American tanks, and even then you only own them as a toy. I paid $500 for my Bluebird 2 years ago, haven't spent a dollar on it and it has a stereo, a heater and a boot for carrying shit in. Pretty much the ultimate car.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Good thing your bike standard ain't the same, otherwise you'ld be cruising around on a postie bike!!
