Cheers! Here's a pic with the train heading back to town (the other pic didn't actually have a train, it might be the signal light you're looking at?). I was also waiting for cars to pass, hoping they'd light up the area a bit, but it wasn't very effective.

Next tag should be posted tomorrow morning...

Pic taken around 7:45am. Roadworks truck parked right next to the box so couldn't take same angle as the others. (I like to do peoples' tag pictures some justice!

Up the road where I live. Couldn't find any landmarks allowing good triangulation... but you might be able to spot the plane in the distance (probably need to view fullsize pic).

Trying to showcase a beautiful Wellington winter morning (misty hills, calm, harbour like a millpond). Awesome.

you can triangulate very nicely of one line and one point thankyou

Yeah spose you can actually (well I wouldn't call it "triangulate", perhaps "biangulate"), especially when the landmark is Miramar plus the airport!

I was thinking of two landmarks one behind the other, you see... allowing an unambiguous line to be drawn. Didn't stop the baldie though, eh?

I can usually ID them, I just can't always beat KL or L to them

and look out when the mighty beemer re-launchs.

you are right there but the airport virtually gives you a line of sight so its pretty easy from there!
