Hey I want to show up tomorrow but I have a problem. I found a completely ruined rear wheel bearing. I have a mates spare wheel that I could steal a bearing out of but I don't have a tool to remove bearings (slide hammer with the bearing removal bit). Can anyone help me out? Or does anybody have rear wheel bearings I could buy? 17mm axle and 40mm outer diameter. I think it's a 12mm thickness but that's just an educated guess. If anyone can help me I will show up tomorrow and fix up my bike in the morning. HELP HELP!! Cheers

Why dont you just swap tyres on the rim for tommorow? Sounds a shit load easier than swaping bearing, and 9 times out of 10 you root them getting them out anyway.

When I have done wheel bearings in the past I have just used a punch as a drift and come through from the back of the bearing and tap it out as evenly as possible (you have to use the bearing inner which is why you normally fuck them)

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Turned out to be not too bad weather wise at Kaitoke, dried up nice. Pretty decent turn-out for a practice day with about 10 bikes. A few bike issues, a few crashes, the bum pants got shared about (we're thinking of making a "Tit shirt" to top off the look!)
I had a pretty decent day just pissing about really and enjoying having others enjoying my special little guy (That would be Rangi, not Nigel, he's my special big guy)
Have GOT to sort out my forks though, I think we've got about a month till next round, so plenty of time.

Yep, that was good fun out there today, especially once the track dried.
Had some video camera fogging issues at the start of the day damn it, so not the best for posting.
My best race was easily the last one, almost finished before Hamish caught me.

Yeah the last race my bike ran properly for the first time. I'm starting to learn how to ride again but its taking time to get back to speed.

Didn't miss doing the first few slippery sessions & did my share of flag waving. Actually Karts are quite funny in the wet. There were ~10 that went of in my corner up the top. Had to help one lass out of the grass on two consecutive races. None of which was as funny as Fishe bailing out in a straight line.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Yeah the grip was variable over the day which caught alot of us out.
Poor Adrian must have thought eveyones out to get him, he had to run off track at least three times to avoid people crashing in front of him.He does it well though.

I had great fun considering the hang over. Would have regretted not being there though. Great racing by everyone, not too many crashes. I think Adrian, Fish and Tex did most of that for us haha. Thanks again Trudi for letting me have a blast on Rangi, 2 strokes are a heap of fun! It was great to see you out there on your 50 hauling some ass Dave.
When is Bayden gonna man up and admit that he has deliberately messed with the wiring on his bike so he doesn't have an excuse for losing? Nah hope you get that fixed soon mate, made it hard to battle with you when your bike was so much slower.
