Took the bike over to Tauranga today to get the seat improved. Just past Okere falls up over the hill and there's a truck at the bottom, bloke in a 4x4 decides to overtake, yellow line but what the hell, no one's coming...except me. He did wave an apology though, which is unusual.

Wife was following in the car, I stopped for petrol in Paingaroa and she shot past. Caught up with her a few K's short of Te Puke, some poor sod had run his truck and trailer off the road, hell of a snarl up, they had a crane and all sorts. I carefully pootled past the 4 K's or so of traffic, neat having a bike 'eh. We came back in the car via Pye's Pa road which brings me to my rant. Every time I come that way there are fuckers tailgating me, and anyone else not doing at least 150. There seems to be something about that road that brings out the fuckwit in drivers, last time I came that way a prick in a 4x4 towing a huge trailer literally forced some poor so of the road. I just pulled over and let the bugger past. End of rant.
