    It's a trick (but still cool) - dinnerware is on a glass sheet and the cloth is between the glass and the table (see comments on youtube)

    I saw this on Mythbusters last weekend. They started as per video and ramped it all the way up to 200 feet of rope and hitting it at 100mph with no success. They concluded that it was bogus as suggested by an earlier poster. They achieved success by polishing the table, placing the table cloth on the table, placing a large sheet of acrylic material (or plastic) on the tablecloth and then setting the table on top of that. Worked perfectly.
