So someone writes some conspiracy on a website with no official release from the team? As the saying goes, believe half of what you see and nothing of what you read!

The famous incident with Craig was his other chosen brand of helmet which was most definitely not the HJC

As far as I know I am the only one in NZ that has used a the new HJC RPHA10 (Exactly the same as the one Ben Spies was wearing) and can assure you it has the best visor locking system I have seen yet! (Not to mention the most comfortable I have worn)

In the attached pic you can see the mechanical centre locking visor system which is a spring loaded catch system, its fantastic! None of this spring detent used in the older styles wear out and become weak which always ends up with a visor that doesn't seal properly or will pop open unexpectedly.

    Cheers,

I do have to say though that this new model is a very cool looking helmet, I was checking them out at the speedshow and they have clearly stepped up.

Im not sure how you clowns get your info? it was an HJC helemet I had a problem with this season at round 1 of the Nationals as I had wrecked my AGV on boxing day, but my problem was that I had not fitted the visor properly and had failed to lock it in and when I opened it the thing poped off.
NO FAULT OF THE HELMET AT ALL.
    So Chop was corret

    Wrong lol.
My first full face was an AGV and i had to Layby it , the cost was $35.00 and as i only earned $42.50 pere week for 50 hours i was a poor bastard, it took 2 months to pay it off but i had a warmer helmet than the open shitter i used to own. I looked good on the AG 100 10 speed farmbike lol.

I have just obtained one of these wee beauties. I went away from HJC for a while to Shoei, which was also an amazing helmet. I have now have decided (edit: the price was right lol) to retry the HJC. It is a damn nice piece of kit! it fits sooooooo good out of the box!

Sketchy have you used the pinlock fog insert? just wondering how well that performs? I usually use the old stick in double glazing which works very well.

Good call maido! Yeah I was well impressed with mine too, a big improvement on the Carbon.

I haven't tried the pinlock yet, I didn't need to at the last round of the VMCC winter series which was wet at the beginning and near on icy at the end of the of the day and didn't have any fogging problems, but I do use the nose guard which seems to work really well.
