Oh I don't know. I was talking to a burly chap the other day who had been Harley browsing recently. He mentioned that he thought Pete was kinda cute, if you liked them mature and bite sized

Bad luck on the broken bones, but have you ever thought of getting some new leathers? Those ones have been pre-magnetised to the track surface by the previous owner perhaps? Get well soon, all the best.

Actually still the current owner...they're only on loan! If I didn't eat for a year...I'd be able to fit them again.

I qualified pretty poorly, couldnt get past a 250 that got away from me on the straights but held me up in the corners

    Think I qualified about 11th

    Race 1
Start was a bit shit but managed to get into turn 1 in front of quite a few people, was riding quite well, felt ok from the test day, especially dunlop! Even the back section was going quite well, I wasn't such a pansy on that corner with the patch!!
Gareth passed me and was riding really well! Ryan passed me and I passed him back in the back hairpin. Coming down the front straight of last lap gareth runs wide in turn one (his back brake got jammed on) I continue, coming into higgins Ryan is on the outside of me, we both brake late, i start to tip in, he hits me and then in lying on the outside of the track, stuck under my bike!
I couldn't lift it off me because my arm was fucked! Think I hit my head too and was knocked out for a few seconds
Wasn't too sore but got progressively worse

Palmy ED managed to process me really quickly, guess because there is sweet FA they can do about a broken in a few pieces shoulder blade but give you a sling and some sweet painkillers.

As always thanks to Billy/racefairings.co.nz my lovely sponsor who gives me a bike to ride

The lovely ambo staff.....they pushed me into the ambulance even with much protest from me saying I was fine!

All the people that came and asked how I was

The marshall that got the bike off me

So my first broken bone is out the way.....I would love to be back for next round though that may be a bit wishful....we will see what the fracture clinic says next week.

Mostly Im gutted about being robbed of my what would have been 5th place in all of streetstock!!!
Err,You must have been talking when you should have been listening,After qualifying when we discussed the problems you were having,Im sure I said "give him a nudge" Not full on ram him as hard as you can,LOL

Shit happens,New bike should be ready when youre all healed up

    Update

    2nd fracture clinic appointment

My movement has massively improved, chatted with the consultant about racing round 6 and he says, as long as it still isn't hurting, I can race! Yay! Now to start physio, I cant guarantee you I will be the star patient!

My last xrays were healing very well....it doesnt look much but I keep getting told its a pretty nasty break

While there I tried my networking skills and consequently the consultant said I should put my name down for his team on the ortho run next year, my dream specialty!
Orthos LOVE their sport and I think he was taken that I was racing a bike haha, yay

Below my latest xrays healing nicely! (black areas are the bone healing, I love the new technology of the xray computer software!)

Were those X-rays with or without the leathers on ???
Are you sure the bone calcification isnt just a leather repair from Pete's old crasher days (before he got too fat )
